I had to share a few photos from our session with Ashley Warnock from early this summer.  Ashley is such a dear friend and talented doesn't begin to scratch the surface when talking about her.  AMAZING is what I like to call her.  Let me just show you a few pics from our shoot.  I love how she captures our little life.  Candid, real moments on a Saturday in May....

These two.

I love this because I know what G is saying...."Bruhder...are you thinking what I'm thinking?"  That's become his new phrase.  No idea where he came up with that one, but I love it!!

  She is not only a talented photographer but also an incredible organizer.  This is a whole separate business where she will take all of your pictures and organize them into one album.  You can do yearly albums or lump several years together for one album.  I gave her 6,000 (literally) photos from our life in 2012 and she combed through, edited and brought them together into one beautiful book.  Amazing!!!!  You need to get on her list, because I know she has one a mile long and get a session and an album made. I mean, well worth it people!!!  I would never have taken the time to go through that many photos but she will and loves it!!!

I have had the good fortune of being friends with so many creative and talented ladies in my life since moving to Charleston a little over ten years ago.  One of those crazy talented gals is Ashley Warnock who you may remember me blogging about in the past.  The girl can snap some photos like nobody's business!! She has an eye and a heart for what she does as a profession.  After flipping through some of the pictures she forwarded my way I was blown away with what she came away with in our two hour session at the studio!!!

I have  a little something up my sleeve that Ashley is helping me make into a reality...slowly but surely I hope to be telling more in the coming months.  So for now it's just some sneak peeks.

Christmas Card Love

I have been meaning to post this all week and just haven't had time!!!  I wanted to share with you our Christmas card created by the super talented designer behind Bon Vivant, Liza Cleveland!!!  Look a here!!!

Wow, I am so lucky!!!  I was thinking about how many mega talented artistic girlfriends I have and I am just blown away!!!!  Among my nearest and dearest are artists, jewelry designers, graphic designers, photographers, seamstresses, culinary delights, and the list goes on....  Just so proud of all my gals for going after their passion in life and doing what they love.  Oh and most of these ladies are mommas too!  Oh how do we juggle it all????!!!!  

Lets cut to the chase here people, one of these uber talented ladies happens to be a friend of mine here in Charleston.  Ashley Warnock to be exact and she is such an amazing photographer, particularly of children in my opinion!  Not to mention she is the sweetest and most kind person you will meet in your life!!!!!  My sister in law grew up with her in Montgomery, Al and a college buddy lived with her in NYC so lets just say we were meant to meet at some point in our lives.  She and her husband and their two adorable little ones live here now and she has a thriving photography business, Ashley Warnock Photography.  Go check her out!  Ok, ok sorry to go on lets see some pics...

The Blender.  This is were we spend lots of time with R's family.  This house has been in their family for many generations and time is divided among all of the R's dad's cousins still.  Even so, we spend about 4 full weeks a year here.  The luckiest part for us is it is only about 7 minutes from our house!!!   Many, many great memories here!!!!!
